Teresa Green
Award-winning newspaper journalist Teresa Green is a co-director of CGM with responsibility for our media relations work and editorial content.
Teresa’s substantial portfolio includes being nominated for four national awards:
- Highly Commended by the Sports Writers Association in the Weekly Newspaper Sports Writer of the Year category (1998)
- Commended by the Sports Writers Association in the Weekly Newspaper Sports Writer category (1988)
- Certificate of Merit in the Newspaper Society awards (1992)
- Third in the Sports Writer of the Year category at the Newsquest Media Group editorial awards (2000)
After successfully passing the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) Proficiency Certificate, Teresa had three main jobs before joining CGM:
- Sports editor, Bromsgrove Messenger
- Sports writer/sub editor at the Sunday Mercury and editor of Grass Roots non-League football magazine
- Assistant editor, Kidderminster Shuttle
Teresa is also an experienced and accomplished sports, theatre, food and tourism writer who has undertaken overseas assignments, reviewed highly respected restaurants, productions at top class theatres such as the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon and reported from premier sports venues such as Lord’s and international football stadiums. She’s also Chris’s wife and the mother of their son, Nicholas.
